Over 40 years history serving the NHS and international laboratories, enabled a unique understanding of what would be required for accurate antibody test development.
Bio-Diagnostics was the first rapid diagnostics manufacturer in the world to recognise the need to identify the spike antibody response of the immune system, when all others focused on the more generic protein pools.
By adapting and adding improvements to our existing technologies we designed a completely new type of test, which was faster and more accurate than anything we’ve made in the companies history.
We called it the Covid-19 BioCard™.
Months of research and development in our UK facility has resulted in the fastest Covid-19 antibody test in the world, uniquely specific and accurate to SARS-CoV-2 spike antibodies.
As a result, the Bio-Diagnostics COVID-19 ultra rapid antibody remains the only diagnostic tool which specifically looks for these antibodies, unique to the SAR-CoV-2 virus.
This ground breaking technology can potentially open the door on a new understanding of immunity for the COVID-19 pandemic, and wider studies.
Our testing service is performed in our laboratories here in the Midlands, UK, in the same company that researched, designed and manufactures the BioCard™.
