It is essential to see the sensitivity and specificity of any test used to provide results from testing services, as this places a value on the accuracy of the results offered.

The BioCard™ (3rd Gen), attained a Sensitivity of 100% (all known positive samples tested positive on the BioCard), and a specificity of 99.5% (a positive result indicates a ‘true’ positive), in extensive validity studies for its CE mark.

The BioCard™ also is also designed to detect lower concentrations of antibodies when they are present, making the “undetectable”, detectable.

The BioCard™ is the only rapid test that detects the antibodies unique to the spike of SARS-CoV-2, meaning a positive relates to a past COVID-19 infection, and not the common cold.

We will not use lessor tests when processing your sample so that you can trust the result, and the result is meaningful.

A positive result very strongly suggests you have specific antibodies which will resist COVID-19 and provide immunity. A negative result does not rule out past infection, as not everyone develops specific antibodies to the disease.
